Ok ok, this is really the last one, I was so close! I was there for like half a second! Ok, tomorrow’s another day. I remembered I had a youtube, haha, so the quality is a little better since the sun went down and stole all my light. What was I just saying about patience?
On Sunday I’ll be driving to Orlando to do The Color Run! Super excited, because just about a year ago I was discovering what the color run was, and thinking how much I’d like to be able to actually run it someday from start to finish.
Well, someday is here guys! One short year ago, I would get winded after running for 60 seconds. Today, I ran a total of 4.57 miles for fun, and set a personal best for my 5k time. I’m gonna try my best to run the color run in 30 minutes! Wish me luck!
Ok everybody. It’s been a year since I started this awesome journey. Last year I made a resolution to lose weight. And I did. The top left picture is roughly one year ago, the bottom right picture is roughly five minutes ago.
Things I resolve to do in 2013: Leave the country at least once. Be grateful everyday. Continue to be happy and healthy. And to do more push ups. And yoga. And a lot more sweating! LOL!
I took up running and chose to devote more time to my health and fitness in January of 2012. I quit a job that was making me unhappy, moved to the beach with my husband, and chose my own happiness in May of 2012. I still have a long way to go, but for the first time in my life I've let go of fear and decided to see what I can do when "I can't" is no longer a part of my vocabulary.
